Chris Mallard and co-host Miss Aaron react live to the 2026 midterm election results the morning after. They cover the Democratic gains, a surprising result in Texas, Missouri’s abortion amendment, and what they hope happens next. The episode also includes a live test of new stream tools.
What were the 2026 midterm election results?
Chris reads early numbers on screen, including the Senate at 54 to 44 with seven seats gained and the House at 228 with about 25 gained so far. He notes that one program called races too early and that the Associated Press is generally considered the safest source. Exact totals may take days to confirm, but he says the outcome is clear. Miss Aaron says she has not counted on an election since 2016 and was braced for disappointment. Chris says he was very worried too.
Did Texas turn blue in the 2026 election?
The hosts react with shock to Texas turning blue. Miss Aaron says she was hoping for Talarico but thought a flip could not happen in Texas, and she says she heard it was the first time since 1984. They also note Abigail Spanberger becoming Virginia’s first woman governor. A chat member says their state did not turn blue, and the hosts mention atheist candidate Christy Burke, who lost badly against a well-funded incumbent but was praised for running.
What happened with Missouri’s Amendment 3 abortion ban?
A caller asks for news on the Missouri abortion ban. The hosts check the theocracy map on the show’s site, then search the results. According to race calls from the New York Times and the Associated Press, Missouri voters rejected Amendment Three on November 3, 2026. As Miss Aaron puts it, rejected means abortion stays. The caller, Kell, who lives in Missouri after moving from Washington State, calls the repeal of the ban amazing news before the connection drops.
What do leftists and atheists want from Democrats after the midterms?
Chris says he is not a Democrat but votes Democrat because he is a leftist and sees no other choice. He is frustrated that officials often fail to deliver once elected. He hopes for hearings, investigations and impeachments, including of Supreme Court justices he says should not be there. He argues that undoing the damage will take years, so people must keep persevering. He also describes a cycle where disillusioned voters stop voting and Republicans return, and he says he always votes.
Why do old same-sex marriage bans still appear in state constitutions?
Chris says he voted yes on measures in his state to remove wording that disallows same-sex marriage from the state constitution, joking that it should have been done already. He explains that many states still have such laws on the books but no longer enforce them, either because federal law made them obsolete or because nobody bothers. He wonders why there is not an easier process for removing them.

Election Results Reaction and Show Setup
Good morning everybody, and thank you for joining me. I’m the amazing Super Chris, and today Miss Aaron is joining me so we can talk some politics. It’s going to be a lot of fun, and I’m most excited about it. There is a bit of a delay right now, and there may be a new delay between when Miss Aaron and I talk and when you hear it. If you’re a mod for the channel and you access the mod page, there will not be a delay, and it’ll be almost instant, because some people like to get stupid.
[Commercial break]
Miss Aaron, how are you doing this morning? She says she is doing so good. She voted, and her sticker is now on her computer in front of her, which everyone on the Discord saw. She made sure Virginia stayed blue, and she jokes that it was her vote that did it. Asked whether she was surprised by the results so far, she says that since 2016 she has never once counted on an election and never will again, so she was paranoid and scared and prepared to be disappointed, and she was pleased not to be. Chris says he was very worried too, and that any place in the country being even close is disgusting to him.
Chris checks the chat, which is finally working, and says good morning to the mods. He asks whether we’ll get free education next year, and says we damn sure should, since all the money they gave away shows the country could afford it. Miss Aaron says they’ve shown their hand now. A viewer adds that the healthcare needs fixing, since they are a disabled person and need it so badly. Chris and Miss Aaron agree that the people who lost their insurance, Medicaid or Medicare are the real problem, and that it’s ridiculous.
Chris predicts that Democrats will come in and fix everything, and then people will vote them out and conservatives will take it all away. He recalls a commentator on the live election coverage, whose name he can’t remember, saying that people on the left get annoyed when things are terrible, vote, and then get disillusioned when everything doesn’t turn out great in the next four years. Those people stop going to the polls, the Republicans get back in, and they screw everything up again. Chris says he always votes, and Miss Aaron responds that it’s a reliable cycle, a mini cycle inside a larger cycle of about eighty years in which totalitarians come in, like Hitler, and it has happened before and before that.
Chris says Rainbow Ash and John Hudson are in the chat and that the mod chat is still being built. He says tonight’s show will be the first real YouTube chat and chill, and he hopes it will bring in more people who don’t use Discord. Miss Aaron offers to take notes if Chris can’t make it, since he has rehearsal tonight for Young Scrooge, where he’s acting under the name Chris Black. Chris says he has to be there around 6:50, will leave at about 8:40, and might make the very end of the show.
Election results, stream setup, and chat with viewers
We’ll see. Well, that’s the whole point. It starts at 7 for you, right? That’s 9:00 p.m. Eastern, 9 Eastern. Yeah, exactly. I’ll be able to monitor it and things like that. There are ways, if you’re having problems, that you can text me and I can fix it from there. Okay, great. We can do that. That is a relief for sure, absolutely.
I want to say hi to everybody this morning. Let’s see who we have here. We’ve got Rainbow Ash. Hi, Rainbow Ash. Plant, sorry, Plant Sapharos, Plant Pahos? Hi, Planty. How are you doing? Am I saying that wrong? I don’t know. Planty, Pajaros, Paharos. Is it Planty instead of Fantasy? Okay, good morning, Planty. That’s a cool name. I dig it. Blue Wave is here, and Chemical Twirl is here too. Good morning, my friend. I hope to see you tonight. That would be cool. Austin Sims is here. Good morning, FlockMaster. All the cool people are here. Thank you very much for showing up today. This is all very good.
What are your thoughts? Which state is everybody in? If you don’t mind putting it in the chat for me, did your state turn blue? Was it already blue and stay blue, or was it red? Let us know how your state went if you don’t mind. There we go. I want to find out, because I think New Mexico was always bluish, but now we’ve got Deb Holland as our governor. I believe she’s the first Native American governor we’ve ever had. If I remember right, I’m not a politics person, so for all I know, she’s not a governor. She might be a school board person, and I’m getting it all mixed up. I was talking about something, I don’t remember what, and it turned out they were talking about the governor and I was talking about the Senate race or something. Last night somebody asked me about the woman governor we recently got in Virginia, and they said, “What’s her name again?” I blanked completely. I had to look it up later. It’s Abigail Spanberger. I believe she’s our first woman governor ever, which is embarrassing.
Somebody in the chat, Winston’s mom, says, “My state did not turn blue. Bless their hearts.” She’s in Texas, or Tennessee, the land of meat and three where Dolly is missed. I believe that’s where Christy Burke is, one of our atheist compadres, who ran for office. I miss Christy, and I’m sorry she lost very badly. She was running against an incumbent, a classic conservative politician with money and all the backing, and she’s just a person with a house and some dogs. She’s a normal person. I think she did a great job considering, but when you look at her competition, that’s an established machine. Running at all is good, and getting more left-leaning names out there, even just to be talked about while they’re running, is good. I could never have the energy, patience, or ability to run for anything, but I hope the people who can do it don’t lose hope. I hope she tries again and continues the fight. I’m sure she will.
We need more women in office, more trans people, and more gay people. Part of the deal is that we need to stop filtering by those things and let the natural percentages happen. Stop filtering by white, and let whoever is best come through. Godless Granny is here. Hi, Godless Granny, how are you doing? It’s wonderful to see you, and we’ve got to get her up on the show too, once the show is working. She says she doesn’t have the friend base or the money to run, and neither do I. Blue Cocky, oh no, I don’t know what’s going on there. Kelly Joe, hi, Kelly Joe. The congresswoman from Iowa just won on her third try, so persevere. Yes indeed. It’s nice to have you with us. I’m trying to recognize Kelly Joe, and I don’t either. We’ve also got Atheist Mechanic, who snuck in, and Reissus is here, and Fireman is here again with hot takes. Kiff, the mod, is here too. Hey Kiff, how are you doing? I’m working on your stuff right now, so bear with me while it flickers and flashes and magic happens in the background.
Here’s Tom with the weather. Good morning, everyone. What I was going to say, Miss Nonsequitur, is that I’m going to give us an emergency button to bleep out bad people, both visually and audibly. We talked about that on the show yesterday, I think. That’s part of why there’s such a delay now between what we say and what they see. Once I get the mod chat page working, there won’t be a delay there, so the mods will be able to report something or stop it before it actually goes out on the stream. Even if we miss something, the mods will be able to say, “That person just did a thing.” We’re getting there. I like it. It’s genius, and comparatively speaking it’s a breeze to use. It really does work, and it’s getting better all the time. Part of the reason it’s so jerky right now is that I’m literally working on it in the background while we talk. I would love to see people like Godless Engineer use it. I bet he would love it.
I also want to pull in TikTok. Almost everybody does TikTok, and we already have a horizontal stream, but you’re the expert, so you’ll tell me whether our vertical stream would work for TikTok. I don’t think so. We’d need a different ratio, but we’ll figure that out. TikTok has its own specific size. Whenever you stream on TikTok, you can see the hearts and comments coming up on the screen, so we’d need a way for that to happen on the vertical panel for it to be useful to you. We would have to be able to interact with TikTok, and since I’ve never streamed from TikTok, and I don’t know how to do it on YouTube, I can’t really help with that. We’d have to ask someone who has done both. I only do TikTok at the moment because I don’t know how to do the other sort of thing.
Let me do one thing real quick. I’ll let you run an early commercial, if you don’t mind, because I want to fix something. Whichever one you want, maybe the three-minute one, your favoriteest. Let’s do the deathbed one, the postmortem baptism kit, my very favorite. We’ll be back in just a minute.
[Commercial break]
All right, guys, see you in a minute. There may be a delay after she hits the button, and that’s what I’m testing. There is a delay. Have you hit the button yet? I have. Okay, let’s see how it goes.
Well, that’s the show for now, and I’ve got some other work to do. Miss Nonsequitur is going to tell you about the chat and chill coming up this evening, and hopefully it’ll be better than what’s happening now, because I’m working on this show during this show. Miss Nonsequitur, go get him.
Flock and I are going to host a little online party for all our chat lings and any friends you’d like to bring. I also have delightful news: Flockmeister is all hooked up now, and he’s figured out the internet problems he was having, so he’s ready to go for tonight. I figure we’ll be talking about the election a lot, since most of us are from America, and the few who aren’t are at least somewhat interested in whether America destroys the entire world, hopefully not. We don’t often do a lot of politics. Usually it’s very friendly chatter, what we’re doing, getting to know each other better, and some very random topics. We talk a lot about animals, because my kitty is usually with me and Flock always has his birds. Just to be clear, we’re talking about actual feathered animals, not baby dinosaurs.
You’re back, I’m sorry. I was jabbering on. No, I wanted you to jabber on. Go right ahead. I was listening, and what I asked you to do was tell us about your stream. You said doing this is so much easier if somebody’s just there with you, so I popped myself back on and figured you wouldn’t mind if I was working while I listened. Not at all. Usually we just chat and chill, literally hang out and get to know each other. It’s a lot of fun. I’ve made some really great friends in the chat and chill already, and it’s a beard of empathy.
Live Show Setup, Election Results and Abortion Ban
That’s where I first met Beard. Oh, really? I got to know him, other than a little bit here and there in the comments section, but that’s where I really got to know Beard, and he’s become such a dear friend now. It’s a really fun stream. We’re also doing Espresso Jack and Billy Five Head. I’m going to be yanking Espresso Jack up on the stream as soon as I can. I want to get to know him a little better and hang out. He’s been really cool and seems to know some political stuff, which I don’t know that well, and I already want to host a political show on our channel. I want that.
I wonder if Espresso Jack is free to call in this morning and talk a little. I tried to sucker him into calling in, but he may have things going on. I always like to add a little guilt to it, so I don’t mind mentioning it again: “Jack, you want to come hang out with us. You know you want to. My feelings might be hurt if you don’t.”
I have a new chat mod running that’s moderating the chat, and it’s a little heavy-handed, my friends. Thank you to my mods out there who keep going, and to the ones who help when it flags something legitimate. I also want to do games once in a while, but I don’t want to focus on games, because I really want this to be a get-to-know-you type thing. One thing we’ve done in the past that I’d like to do more of is reacting to other content as a group. We put it on share screen, pause it, and talk about it, and it’s such fun. I’m going to make that better for you, because right now it’s all clunky with our scriptures, the web page, and the pop-up web page. I’m going to make it better.
Here’s what I’ve got set so far. A maximum of four folks, two hosts and two callers, for our system to start. We’ll switch people in and out, and I might be able to do more, but I want to guarantee that. Everybody should come watch, the chat will be open, and we can take a couple of people up for a little while and then take more calls as friends come in. I really think our panel version will work. We’ve been testing it, Miss Nonsequator and I. Up at the top of the screen, click Settings, then click the Panel button on the left, near Standard. If anybody comes in, make sure it’s on Panel instead of Standard. If it’s on Standard, it gets weird. On Panel, it moves you around and works really well.
Let me add a scripture here: John 3:16. Save, display, and you’ll notice it puts us into a thing on the side. With Panel, I click Standard and then Panel, and nothing changes. It’s probably because I was clicking them at the same time. Let me try without clicking and see if it works for me. Oh, yes, it does. We’re working on making it faster in the back. Kelly Laughlin is here. Do you think Jesus likes it when you insult others? Maybe he does. What’s a good reason? Mine’s different from yours, but it doesn’t matter. Stop worrying about events from decades ago. Where do you find yourself today?
Let’s see how our mod room is doing. All right. So, Miss Nonsequator, what about our blue wave? Wow, right? Texas turns blue. I did not see that coming. I was hoping for good things, and I was hoping for Talarico, of course, but the flip to blue, I thought, it’s Texas, it can’t happen. But it did. That’s insane. It’s the first time since 1984, I heard. It’s crazy. We’re doing some guinea pig testing today, so I’m going to put up the link, damnshow.com/call, and we’ll see if we can get a caller to test our system. If you want to call, pop in, and I’ll put up the banner. Miss Nonsequator, would you put up the call-in banner? We’re going to test the system and see how it looks and works.
userds, good morning. What an interesting name. Franks is here. Hello, Franks. Only idiots care about this circus. Which circus? Are you talking about politics, the election results? What are we talking about specifically? User Ducks is saying the Bible, and what’s made available to us, like the trees, is all the evidence needed for God, and apparently not, because I’m not convinced. I wonder what Chris would want God to do in order for him to be convinced. Would be interesting to hear.
Well, there are two different things going on. One is me believing God exists. If your God existed and wanted me to know, it would let me know, because it knows everything. Whatever it would take to convince me, it would know. But just because I believed it existed does not mean I’d worship it. Is it going to come up to me and say, “Here I am, I’ve shown you I exist, now you believe, so are you going to worship me or should I torture you forever?” That’s not a pretty story of your god-creature. And honestly, I like to think I wouldn’t worship him, even though I’m infinitely less in that hypothetical, very unlikely scenario. I joke about how hell would be fun because all my favorite people would be there, but we’ve got Kell waiting to get in.
Miss Nonsequator, did you ever get your Stream Deck up and going? I did, I just forgot about it today. There we go, that’s Kell in. Good morning. I’m going to have to make a note about making these circles bigger in the text. We can hear you, Kell, we’re just not seeing you yet. Pardon the glitches. How’s it going? Does anyone have news on the abortion ban in Missouri? I can look it up. My Google-Fu is probably no better than yours, but I’ll go to damnshow.com and the theocracy map, and we’ll see what it says about Missouri. I’ll share this screen. Let me display it. Our map is what I want you to see.
Miss Nonsequator, the Stream Deck link I sent isn’t working. It says to use the link Chris sent, and I did. I’ll fix it and get rid of the extra links. If you’re on a laptop or desktop, it brings you to the host page. If you’re on mobile, it takes you to the Stream Deck page. A mobile user can’t be a host and run the show, but if you have the Stream Deck, you’re fine. Now, the Google result: Amendment Three in the November 3rd, 2026 midterm election. According to race calls and data published by the New York Times and the Associated Press, Missouri voters rejected Amendment Three. Rejected means abortion stays. Good news, for who? For Kelly, that’s good. I knew he was on our side, so I had to be careful. Amendment Three just got approved two years ago, when Trump took office, so an election going the other way would definitely reject it. It was a positive result. I slept through it, but I woke up to about 244 Democrat seats, I think.
Oh, I’m going to use the show tools Chris provided and do this the right way. I need a web page with an exact address. Just one moment, folks. Sorry, guys. This is the first time I’m trying this tool, and I’m a little fumbly with it.
Election Results, Mod Tools and Deathbed Bibles
Chris finally gets the stream full screen and goes through the early results, reading the Senate race at 54 to 44 with seven seats gained and the House at 228 with about 25 gained so far. He says the program he was watching called things too early, and notes that the Associated Press is generally considered the safest authority. He adds that the exact numbers may take a few days to confirm, but the outcome is clear enough.
Chris says he had been watching earlier that the results mean Trump will not get anything passed in the foreseeable future, and he admits he is excited about that. He explains that he is not a Democrat but votes Democrat because he is a leftist and sees no other choice, though he is frustrated that those officials often do not deliver once in office. He says he always votes and tries to do his part, even if it is depressing.
The conversation turns to voter registration after he recently moved states. Chris had not yet registered in his new state because he had heard he had to cancel his old registration first, and he says he is not sure how complicated that process is. He suggests the viewer look it up rather than take his word for it.
Chris asks what else the caller, Kell, likes about what happened in Missouri, and Kell says the abortion ban being repealed is amazing news. Kell says Missouri is their state and that they came from Washington State. Shortly after, Kell’s connection drops, and Chris thanks them for calling in and helping test the system.
Chris then describes a new feature he is building so channel members can vote on which commercial to run, using a separate emote for each one and a fuel bar that shows which option is winning. He says he is testing how quickly the commercial comes up and hopes it works well. He then chooses to run a deathbed conversion Bible ad as the next piece.
[Commercial break]
After the ad, Chris says things seem to be working and explains the mod page, where mods can see a more real time feed than the public stream because of a built in delay. That delay allows mods and hosts to bleep out anything inappropriate, such as someone exposing themselves or saying something ugly, and this can only be done from the mod page. He walks through the layout, including the mod chat that shows which mods are in the room, the show chat on the right, and an emergency button that alerts the hosts and makes a noise on the host panel.
Brennan Austin Sims joins the chat and asks viewers how they feel about the election results in their states. Someone replies that they now live in the area, and Chris responds that they should have checked the tool out, calling it very good. He says he hopes to make it reliable enough that other people can run their own shows on the channel, the way a TV channel carries multiple programs.
MC Time arrives, and Chris invites them to come up and speak like a caller about politics. Chris then raises a question about why God would be upset about people not capitalizing pronouns like “He” and “Him,” noting that he does not capitalize God himself. He jokes that if God divinely inspires everything, including the rules of grammar, then God should be the one who breaks them.
Chris says that since some viewers have not seen the earlier material, they will start with the pup before moving on to the bark bank. He jokes about meeting the pup so viewers know who Oliver is, and then plays the clip, opening with “Welcome to the pup,” and a line in which the speaker says, “Fetch me, Father Fine, you are in the presence of his holiness.”
Part 5
Father Flanigan Sketch and Stream Tech Test
The puppious Maximus, guardian of the sacred fire hydrant, defender of the holy tennis ball and eater of the golden kibble, greets Pup Oliver Poops the Fifth, and says he has heard Oliver has a bone to pick with him. Oliver asks Father Flanigan why he is selling condoms, and Flanigan answers that he has plenty of his own. When Oliver presses him on the Barrow Sombrero line, Flanigan admits it is meant for non-Catholics only, part of a sinner going to sin, lack of faith outreach program. He explains that it is like collecting a tithe from heretics, heathens and atheists.
Oliver points out that this will reflect very poorly on the church, and Flanigan agrees. Oliver suggests a warning label on the box saying “Not for Catholics” in big letters, and Flanigan says that is too subtle and proposes “Instant purgatory if used by Catholics.” Oliver likes the idea, Flanigan calls the product divine brandy, and then sends Oliver away.
The sketch then turns to Barkbank, where Father Flanigan pitches for $50,000 in exchange for 3 percent of his startup, Holy Halos, the world’s first church-approved condoms. He says following the Lord often requires sacrifices of the flesh, so he has designed condoms that are permeable but dipped in holy water. The idea, he explains, is that the holy water keeps sin out but lets the babies in, so people can have sex without going to hell. The church keeps making babies, and the faithful no longer need to go to confession.
One of the Sharks asks whether holy water, which can carry bacteria like E. coli, might harm women’s health. Flanigan says he does not understand the question and does not address it. When asked about the mesh texture, he says it is rough on the outside to increase shame, but soft and smooth inside, internally lubed and ribbed for his pleasure. He also offers custom scents, including virgin vanilla, miracle mint, cooing camel, and sweat of the savior. Asked whether the Vatican has blessed the venture, he says not exactly, and that he is still waiting on a public decree.
The Sharks react by calling the offer too little for too much. One of them says the 3 percent is rough and that they will stay on the porch, and another wishes him good luck. Flanigan counters with 15 percent, which is called highway robbery even for the church. He drops to 10 percent with a blessing for their branding, then to 7 percent with a baptism for all their puppies, and the offers keep going back and forth.
A special call-in bidder then appears on screen, and it is Pup Oliver Poops the Fifth himself. He offers $50,000 for 20 percent and says Flanigan can keep calling himself a father. Flanigan accepts and thanks him, and Oliver tells him he may leave. The skit ends with Flanigan’s product line, Holy Halos, described as ultra thin and spiritually thick, and available in conservative, medium and liberal sizes.
The host then steps back and says he thought Chris was back, but it was just him, and he apologizes for having been caught adjusting himself. He jokes that Chris only does this to try to get a raise, and suggests paying her double. He then says everything should be working and they are almost done with the mod panel, so the broadcast will be ready shortly.
He greets the audience and thanks the regulars, then mentions that Pup Oliver and Father Flanigan have a contentious relationship. He welcomes Winston’s mom, Ace Trades, Fisher and Kelly to the stream. He also says he has been fiddling with the setup like a job, and asks whether Flocky is in the chat, since Flocky had warned him not to jinx his own setup. He suggests Flocky test his link on the stream, and says that if the link does not work, they should know that too.
Turning to the election, he says the results in his state were interesting. He voted yes on measures to remove the wording that disallows same-sex marriage from the state constitution, which he jokes they should have done already. He explains that many states still have such laws but no longer enforce them, either because federal law has made them obsolete or because nobody bothers to enforce them. He wonders why there is not an easier process to remove them.
The connection then drops, and he says it was probably his end, though he jokes that it would be nice to blame his co-host. He notes the time and asks chat whether it was his internet or the other person’s. He greets Scotty McBooger, joking that he always gets stuck on the name, and says the test is working on his end. Someone has now joined on his laptop, and he says it will take a minute.
He explains that he is splitting the audio into five tracks, which will be cool when it is finished, and thanks viewers for bearing with the show during the past month of construction. He says the construction has hurt the numbers, and then picks up a question from Garrett about how viewers across the pond feel about the election results. He asks whether anyone in the chat is from Canada, or from the countries to the north or south, and notes that Canada was cheering on the US and that some African countries were flying blue.
He asks viewers to refresh their pages, since the chat is now themed purple to match the regular dashboard, because he likes purple and everybody likes purple. He says the share scripture function works, but the web page display is clunky and he plans to fix it later. He describes a feature he wants to add, where a YouTube link can be pasted in to bring up a custom screen. He recalls a past debate between Monty Mater and Beth Anne Stucky, which he says Monty annihilated, and asks Kif to confirm by typing in chat that it was him.
Finally, he explains that when a mod types into the panel chat, a button lets them speak under the channel’s name rather than their own. He notes that when he speaks from the page, it appears as The DAM Show.
Stream Setup, Guest Panel and Show Updates
Anything coming from me comes across as authority, and the same goes for the mods when they speak from the mod panel. Whatever they say from that panel goes out to both chats, or you can choose which chat to send it to. It is very cool. Brent A, nice to have you with us today. You mentioned you revived your Discord account, but I haven’t seen anything come through from you yet.
On November 14th, after the morning show with Kelly Laughlin, Beard of Empathy will premiere his show, Ask Your Damn Questions. On that premiere, he will be interviewing John Cohen. John Cohen mentioned me in a comment once, and I am still aflutter about it. Beard is so good. He has a boldness, and he just asks everybody. He must be very persuasive, because he gets everybody to say yes.
Kelly Laughlin knows everybody too. There may be a special guest coming on one of Kelly’s upcoming weekend streams, though I don’t want to say too much. Kelly is good at wrangling guests, and he has semi-volunteered to help us wrangle them. You shouldn’t brag that you do this and then not expect us to ask you to do it, and he is bragging that he does.
We have a host panel and a mods page now, and I’m going to create a guest page. That way guests can see what they can do and what they can’t. If you remote into someone else’s show, you can’t listen to the chat on the panel, so you have to shut down the chat or go over to the YouTube stream to see it. This is for the guests. Whenever I call in the real guests (not callers, no offense to callers), they don’t need to see everything while they’re chatting, and I’d rather most people didn’t look at the chat while they’re on a call with me. Talk to me, and ignore the chat while we’re talking.
Sometimes the chat says nasty things about the guest, and they start fighting with the chat while they’re talking to me. Then I have to say, “No, attention on me, right here. This is the star. Talk to me.”
Miss Interpretations lost her father, I think the day before yesterday, and that is why we haven’t started our show yet. She needs some time to take care of things, so that will probably still be a few weeks. In the meantime, I’d like to do an interim call-in show with Jada, who I’ve had up on my TikTok quite a few times. She is a lot of fun. We can do it when she and I have time, until Miss Interpretations and I can get our show going so we have more things on the channel sooner. I was going to put the new hosts on with Kelly on the weekend and with you, and that works out. If you don’t mind kicking off your show a little early while Miss Interpretations is gone, Jada can help you set it up, and we can talk about that after the show.
Do you remember the button up there that said block a lock, co-host dashboard? That was there for FlockMeister specifically, to keep him from messing things up. Can you hear me? We can hear you. Tip your camera down a hair, a little more. It’s a USB camera I got on Temu. It wouldn’t work for Zoom, but it’s much better than the camera built into my old laptop.
Hey, Flock, it’s so nice to see you in daylight hours. We usually start a little bit in the daylight so we can say night night to your feathered friends. How is Nugget doing? She’s fine. She turned five weeks old on Sunday, so she’s 38 days old today. I plugged the hotspot in directly, since the hardwired connection is much more stable. I can take my phone into the coop for a couple of minutes to visit Nugget, then come back out and set up like this for the rest of the show. I can’t do that down in my studio because it isn’t set up, but I can bring Rusty up. He is the star, and he gets what he wants.
Thank your wife for putting up with a chicken in the main house. She’s asleep right now. She got sick on Sunday and couldn’t keep anything down Monday or yesterday. Last night, just before my son came home from work around midnight, she wanted to go to the emergency room. We called an ambulance because she was in bad shape and couldn’t get up into the Jeep. The ambulance took her in, and she called me around 5:30 or 6:00 in the morning to say she could come home. Our son was sleeping, but he was already up, so we went and picked her up. I got to bed about 1:00 and had trouble sleeping, so I was back up at 5:30.
Your eyes are looking hecka blue right now, and I was just noticing that about mine too. I’ll try to get a nap this afternoon, and if I don’t manage one, I might start saying insane things, which people will probably find entertaining. You claim you never fall asleep on stream, but you do every so often. When I played trivia on Thursday nights, we’d go until midnight, and some nights until 4:00. It made me cranky, so I dropped it. The last time I did it, my little white hens, Max and Min, were in with me, and one of them sat on my head while I dozed off. There’s a picture of that, and they posted it on YouTube with a timestamp. Out of respect to me, they shut my camera off, but my goal in life is to get laughs, so that was my unintentional greatest gag ever. I can post the link in Discord. I must be a terrible friend, because the few times you’ve dozed off, I’ve only made fun of you for it. It never occurred to me to turn off your camera or wake you up.
This is basically a chat and chill, a friendly hangout where we get to know each other. Serious subjects come up sometimes, but I’ve never wanted debate or arguments. Bring your favorite drink, whether that’s a Mountain Dew, a water, or something spicier. I bought a bottle of wine and I’ll crack it open to celebrate the change in the Illinois legislature. Pritzker kept his governor’s seat, but the Republicans got my congressional district. Sorry to hear that, but that’s all right, as long as
Part 7
Election Results Reaction and Stream Wrap-Up
Chris asks the chat whether they can hear an echo in his audio, and says the chat is running a little behind. He then asks what viewers think will happen next after the election results. He hopes for hearings, investigations and impeachments, and says he wants the Supreme Court justices who should not be there impeached. He would be furious if Democrats do not make the most of the situation.
Chris argues that undoing the damage will take years, so people must keep persevering even if less gets done in the next two to four years than they hope. He says it will take far more than that to get out of the mess the “Tangerine Totalitarian” has created. His co-host jokes about “Mango Musolini,” and Chris mentions a Stephanie Miller reference. He says “Tangerine Totalitarian” is his own creation.
Chris reports that his system has glitched and that he is refreshing it to bring his co-host Erin back into the stream. Erin returns and apologises for the glitch, and Chris tells her he has what he needs for testing. He explains that he has been moving his multi-track system into a more stable setup that may not make sense to anyone else but should work better once finished. He says he may run another test stream before tonight and asks viewers to message him if they need help.
Chris thanks Flockmeister for helping test the setup and jokes about how he looks awake in the morning hours. He asks Erin to test whether the stream automatically ends after the closing commercial and credits play. They agree to play one more commercial first, and Flockmeister runs it.

They return from the break and Chris thanks everyone for coming, saying they will see viewers the next morning. He notes that there were no super chats that day and brings back his friends to say goodbye before he ends the stream. Chris thanks Flockmeister and says goodbye to the chat.
